Retreat Program Details:
An eight day and seven night all inclusive Ashtanga Yoga Retreat at the very special SwaSwara Eco Resort
The retreat begins on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dashami which celebrates the victory of light over darkness and the awakening of spiritual knowledge within. The retreat will focus on the integration of all the elements of ashtanga yoga practice as well as yoga philosophy, chanting and satsang along with Ayurvedic and Naturopathic treatments. SwaSwara Eco Resort was chosen for its specialisation in holistic treatments and its stunning setting in the natural environment of pristine South Indian coastal forest. SwaSwara Eco Resort is the perfect place to deepen all aspects of your Ashtanga practice and reconstruct your body, mind and spirit, creating balance and harmony within.
Daily morning chanting is followed by Ashtanga Led and Mysore Classes and complimented by afternoon satsang, delving into yoga philosophy discussions with asana and pranayama technique sessions. During the day schedule Ayurvedic massage and naturopathy treatments or take Ayurvedic cooking, meditative art classes or go on a guided nature walk with SwaSwara’s in house naturalist. The moon day will begin with a morning satsang you followed by boat ride on the beautiful Aganashini river (who's river mouth meets the Arabian sea only a short distance from SwaSwara) to visit historic Mirjan Fort, followed by a tuk tuk ride from the boat jetty to the Fort, returning by boat to OM Beach.
Kids at SwaSwara: This year SwaSwara have relaxed their child policy. For the first time ever guests will be able to brings children under 15 years of age. There will be ample activities for children including Art and cooking classes, nature walks and Karma yoga activities as well as the pool and beach. Kids under 18 will not however be able to receive ayurvedic or naturopathic massage treatments.
In order to take advantage of the relaxed child policy, we will need to secure enough bookings to fill 20 rooms in the resort. If you would like to bring a child under 15 please contact us for more information and we will let you know where we stand. Special child rates are available upon request.
Partners of Retreat Attendees: You are welcome to bring your 'non-yoga' partner to share your villa and to relax and enjoy SwaSwara while you sweat it out in the yoga room. Partners will be able to access all the same benefits of the SwaSwara including ayurveda and naturopathy treatments as outlined below. To secure your place the package fee must be paid in full within 30 days of reservation.

The courses requires a minimum of 10 participants to start.

Final notice regarding course status will be sent 75 days prior to commencement date.
REFUND POLICY

After 1st Sep: strictly no refund.

Between 1st Aug – 30th Sep: 50% refund less a $200 USD handling fee.

Between 1st Jun – 31st July: 75% refund less a $200 USD handling fee.

Before 1st Jun: 100% refund less a $200 USD handling fee.

If the course is full a refund is only possible if a replacement is found.

Under any refund situation, credits (less the USD$200 handling fee) to future retreat is subject to the teacher & SwaSwara’s final discretion.

In the event that the organizers cancel the retreat, a full refund will be arranged to paid participants.
